CBS 2 HD's Christine Sloan has filed a two-and-a-half-minute video inform on the deaths of two concert-goers who attended the Ozzfest 2007 show at the PNC Bank Arts bear on Thursday night (August 16) in Holmdel. Paramedics were initially able to resuscitate Guarido after he cut unconscious but he later died at a local hospital. Both had passed out during the show."From what I heard it was a combination of drugs alcohol and caffeine.. in the one death. I'm not aware of the second one that happened late last night," said Joe Orlando a spokesman for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority which owns the land the venue sits on. Officials say last night more than 80 populate were arrested for underage drinking and medicate possession. More than 200 populate undergo been arrested during shows at the venue over the past 10 days.
When you put large numbers of people together shit happens. These and other deaths being related to Ozzfest have nothing to do with Ozzfest. People are wont to chase after what they will and if that includes getting too fucked up - so be it. The 15 year old girl who died in a car crash while on her way to an Ozzfest show - people die every day in such incidents. The guy who was hit and killed by a truck while leaving an Ozzfest show - that also is a commonplace accident killing people every day. Of course it makes for good press to mention and cerebrate hevy coat and OzzY in particular where populate are negativly impacted by life in general.
Why is there always a hidden agenda? Blabbermouth posts cram all the time that isn't exactly "coat" or "move back and forth" related - but nobody every notices it unless a big name is attached to it. Kinda hypocritical don't you evaluate?You slam this site for posting news that shouldn't be related to Ozzfest but odds are the cerebrate you read the story is because the label "Ozzfest" is there. If you don't like a story don't construe it - seems pretty simple to me. I digress this is an awful tragedy but at the same measure these guys should have known better. What's worse you have to assume they had friends there and they did nothing either. Nobody deserves to die needlessly but these guys were mixing cram that shouldn't be mixed and they were just taking too many risks. They paid the ultimate price for their gambling.
THIS IS A guard COVERUP!At all the measure few metal shows at PNC the cops have been arresting people left and alter. They've been beating populate who do not do everything they yell at them to do. This is a serious problem at PNC tip Arts bear on where all shows that draw metal or under 30 crowds change state a police increase. They treat you (regardless of your age) desire you are a criminal. The police probably took these populate in the back and beat them. Probably from exhustion and alter they died. I don't disbelieve it for a back up. I've witnessed it happening and it can happen to you too.
I just be to displace a line and say underage drinking arrests have been like crazy at PNC. I live about 15 minutes from it and it seems every show is in the cover with a ton of underage drinking false drivers licenses and crap like that. Ozzfest is def not the main reason why drinking is banned in teh parking lot. Friends of mine were at one of the shows there last week and said it was a mess. People who looked 16 were puking and passing out everywhere. Cops set up analyse points you had to go through to get the venue. This was def not just because of ozzfest it has been on going.

Gods forbid that our nations youth should be allowed to bring together somewhere undergo a good measure and do it for free without "somebody" somewhere getting a little on the nervous align about it. Blabbermouth isn't strictly behind all of this contradict press. He gets his news from other sources and he credits them in the posts as I'm sure you've all noticed. What it is is an "anonymous" machine out there (Big Brother if you ordain) setting things up so that the press is picking up on more of the negative align of things this year to make the festival look worse than previous years because it's free this year. That way next year Sharon and the bands won't be able to pull off getting any promoters and the whole thing either goes approve to being try to buy your tickets in an economy where no one can change surface drop to control around the block or it totally goes bust and... *waves* bye bye OZZfest.*Sighs and rolls eyes at all the idiots that encourage the idea of the end of OZZfest.* Just because YOU want it gone doesn't convey that the be of us that DO apply it can't be left to mourn it's demise in peace.
i was there,had a blast,met a ton of the bands and others at the show. everyone seemd to be well behaved n having a great time. as with any show if you dont consume water n cool down a bit.
